What I do, when applying foundation..

The key to having even patchy free foundation, is to apply a thin layer of moisturiser on your face before applying foundation. This also makes the foundation last longer on your face, which is useful especially spending  long days waiting around for recalls and results at major competitions.
After applying foundation I find that by using a press powder it creates an airbrushed look, which hides all shiny parts of the face.
I never ever, ever go for a majorly dark foundation straight away, the tip that I would give out to everyone is to build it up bit by bit; do not overload with bronzer straight away. I always use a shimmer free bronzer as I believe it creates a more naturally tanned look. Also when applying bronzer I prefer to use a larger brush for a more even coverage and I always blow off the excess bronzer on the brush before applying to the face, so no patches occur.

This is the normal routine I do every feis. If there are any area's in particular which anyone would like advice or tips on, please feel free to comment below, even on anonymous, thanks.
